While in New York City for the USOPC Media Summit, Courtney Ryan was able to snag an invite from the WNBA to attend their highly anticipated 2024 WNBA Draft event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in which was dubbed the Caitlin Clark draft as she was picked #1 overall by the Indiana Fever.

At the event, Courtney scored an autograph by Ms Clark and met many of the draftees and their college coaches in the WNBA private party prior and during the draft.

A native of Washington, D.C. but a transplant resident to the City of Los Angeles since 1991.  I have held positions with the National Hockey League, Los Angeles Kings and XTRA Sports 1150 Sports Radio Los Angeles in the past.  Today, I own a boutique firm that represents Olympic & Paralympic athletes from the United States & Canada.  I have represented these athletes since 2006 and eventually helping some of them transition to broadcasting beyond their playing days.  

I am passionate about helping these athletes today and what is beyond for them in the real world.  At the same time, if they want my assistance with things like Gender Equitable treatment or I see a wrong that happens where someone from the outside needs to step up and say "hey we need to look at that here" I am usually all-in to help my clients out.
