The win pushed Toronto into first overall in the PWHL.

With the win, PWHL Toronto tied the Toronto Blue Jays for the 2nd longest win streak in Toronto professional sports history. The record for wins is 15 set by the Toronto Raptors during their NBA Championship season of 2019-20.
