Kelly Pannek - 2026 U.S. Olympic Selection
Congratulations to client, Kelly Pannek was nominated for Olympic Selection for her 3rd U.S. Olympic Hockey Team for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games as announced on the TODAY Show on January 2, 2026.
Kelly (alongside Megan Keller and Cayla Barnes) becomes a part of a group of 19 women since Women’s Hockey was introduced at the 1998 Winter Olympic Games that will have the opportunity to compete in their 3rd Games for Team USA. She previously competed at Beijing 2022 (Olympic Silver medal) and at PyeongChang 2018 (Olympic Champion).
Kelly (alongside fellow Minnesota Frost defender Lee Stecklein) are the only two women to have begun a new CHAMPIONSHIP CLUB in the sport by holding all OLYMPIC GOLD, WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD, NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP and the PWHL WALTER CUP. This would be the equivalent of the IIHF Triple Gold Club (Olympic Gold, World Gold and Stanley Cup), but understanding how much NCAA women’s hockey has been to the development of the sport, to note this achievement that she has is very special.
A native of St Louis Park, Minnesota, she is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
