Kelly Pannek breaks PWHL Single Season Scoring Record

Minnesota Frost forward, Kelly Pannek broke a tie with past record holders Hilary Knight and Sarah Fillier with her 30th point on a goal by Grace Zumwinkle in the 2nd period at Climate Pledge Arena in the 29th game of the 30 game regular season. She had tied the record in her 26th game of the year. The mark set by Knight and Fillier were established in the 30th game of the 2024-25 year.
Later in the contest, Kelly added another assist and a goal finishing the game with 32 points in front of 11,982 at CPA.
Of note: teammate Taylor Heise became the second player in PWHL history to additionally reach 30 points in this same game.
The Frost wrap up their regular season at Vancouver on Saturday April 25th before the PWHL Walter Cup Playoffs begin for them either at Boston or Montréal who both have home ice advantage in the first round.
Kelly became the 2nd player in PWHL history (behind inaugural season MVP, Natalie Spooner who in a 24 game season established the first single season scoring mark with 27 points in 24 games for a 1.13 points per game average for the season) to have at least a 1 point per game average. After game 29, Kelly sits at 1.10 PPG.
