Lacey Eden wins RECORD 4th NCAA Hockey Championship

March 24, 2026 — The University of Wisconsin Badgers defeated The Ohio State University Buckeyes in their 4th consecutive National Championship meeting. The Badgers went Back-To-Back and won 3 of the 4 championships in this window.

Lacey Eden (Annapolis, MD) won her 4th NCAA Championship at the University in a bit of a different manner. During the 2021-22 season, she was centralized with the U.S. Women's National Team and took a gap year away from school to try and make the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Her years of her titles reflect this gap.

In this her senior year, she led the NCAA in overall scoring with 77 points in 41 games. But more importantly for the Co-Captain of the Badgers, when her fellow teammates left to go to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, she held down the fort and helped the team go 6-2 during this stretch and had 18 points to keep the ball rolling along in Madison after not being selected by Team USA. She showed incredible fortitude and resolve to continue to get the job done in a painful period.
