Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Silver medalist, Renata Fast of the women’s ice hockey team and 2026 Winter Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Ivanie Blondin of the women’s speedskating team appeared at a SKATE & CHAT event with local youth and families.

As a part of the program Renata and Ivanie worked on with Farm Boy during the lead up to Milano Cortina 2026, 2 local Ontario based youths could apply for a grant to help fund their athletic future journeys. This was presented at this event.

Both athletes spoke at the event and took part in an open skate.
