Seen in Milano: DUOMO

So the famous Milan Cathedral that is seen in all of the imagery from the Winter Olympics & Paralympics is very accessible by subway. Literally the METRO drops you off in the plaza at the cathedral. Late at night, it does get empty to be able to take shots with no one there.

You have to check it out. Both the M1 (RED) and M3 (YELLOW) lines are right there at the spot. In the plaza you will notice one of the media shots that is set up for then international media to get all of their shots. The nickname of this is HOLLYWOOD SQUARES because of the 9 broadcast locations.

To the left of the DUOMO is one of the most famous shopping spots in Milano. You have to check it out. The last image seen in this pairing is the Milano Castle I mentioned in another post but from the Duomo side of town. It is probably a 1.5 -2 mile walk from one to the other.
