Six Women create a new Elite American Olympic Club - the Dual Champions
MILANO CORTINA 2026 — FEBRUARY 23, 2026
Six members of the United States Olympic Women’s Hockey Team created the new standard for American women and that was that they won their 2nd Olympic Gold Medal in their careers. At the same time, no American men have won two Gold medals as well.
All of these women were a part of the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team in Pyeongchang that helped snap a 20 year streak since the last win at the inaugural event in Nagano.

Three of these women, Kelly Pannek, Lee Stecklein and Kendall Coyne Schofield also are part of another elite club where they along side of Maddie Rooney, Nicole Hensley are the INAUGURAL MEMBERS of the female TRIPLE GOLD CLUB - Olympic Gold, World Championship Gold and the PWHL WALTER CUP with 3 new members Taylor Heise, Grace Zumwinkle and Britta Curl-Salemme after the 2026 victory in Milano.
The other 17 members of the 2026 Winter Olympic Team will look to join them in the future or future Olympians of Team USA.
