The two-time defending champion Minnesota Frost practiced in St. Paul on Friday morning and KSTP Sports was there.

2-1 after three games, the Frost play at 1st place Boston on Sunday afternoon.

KSTP Sports spoke with forwards Kelly Pannek and Taylor Heise about the start of the season and aiming to be on Team USA for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympic Games at Milano Cortina 2026.

Pannek and Heise will head to Edmonton next week to play for the U.S. in the Rivalry Series vs. Canada. The rivals will connect for two games.

Team USA is expected to finalize its 2026 Olympic roster in early January.

Kendall Coyne Schofield scored her first PWHL hat trick to lead the Frost to a 5-1 win over the Ottawa Charge on Tuesday night.
