John Morgan - 2026 Milano Cortina bobsled analyst - NBC Olympics

CONGRATULATIONS TO CLIENT John Morgan for being named for his 12th Winter Olympic Games as a broadcaster for coverage in the United States in the sport of BOBSLED.

During his career, he has worked for NBC at 7 Winter Olympic Games as well as assignments with CBS and ABC. John began working on Wide World of Sports with the legendary Jim McKay on sliding sports.

Away from the microphone, the Lake Placid, New York native he and his family has been within the sport as racers for three generations including being members of the U.S. Men’s Bobsled Team.

John was the Executive Director who helped to create the ICONIC Bo-Dyn Bobsled project that provided American made bobsleds to the team from the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games through the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. In conjunction with with NASCAR Hall of Fame member Geoff Bodine, winner of the Daytona 500 and 18 NASCAR Cup Series races in his iconic career, they along side Whelen Engineering and others in the stock car industry in North Carolina to Connecticut they engineered all the 2010 OLYMPIC CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT TRAIN 4-man BOBSLED TEAM piloted by the late Steven Holcomb which brought home the first U.S. Gold medal in Men’s bobsled in 62 years in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada at Vancouver 2010.

The Bo-Dyn Bobsled Challenge fundraising event had NASCAR drivers taking down sleds in Lake Placid and Park City like Joey Logano which drew great exposure and sponsorship to the sport.

The U.S. won medals at Salt Lake 2002 including the first Olympic Gold in Women’s Bobsled and Olympic Silver in the men’s 2-man competition, Torino 2006 - Olympic Silver in Women’s Bobsled, Vancouver 2010 Olympic Bronze in Women’s Bobsled, Sochi 2014 Olympic Silver and Bronze in Women’s Bobsled and Olympic Silver in 4-man Bobsled, PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Silver in Women’s Bobsled all in BO-DYN BOBSLED PROJECT sleds.

The Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project is the most successful run by the United States in the history of the program. The project phased out after PyeongChang 2018.
