Renata Fast - 2026 Canadian Olympic Selection

Congratulations to client, defender Renata Fast on being named to her 3rd Canadian Olympic Hockey team. The Burlington, ON native plays for the Toronto Sceptres in the Professional Women’s Hockey League. The selections were announced by the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and Hockey Canada on January 9, 2026 in Toronto.

Renata and fellow Team Canada Alternate Captain, Blayre Turnbull were present at the COC headquarters of the announcement that was hosted by COC CEO David Shoemaker, Hockey Canada CEO Kathryn Henderson and announced by Team Canada General Manager Gina Kingsbury of who would make the 23-person roster (note the men’s roster is 25-players per IOC rules) for the Milan 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

Renata previously competed at Beijing 2022 where she won Olympic Gold and PyeongChang 2018 where she won an Olympic Silver medal.

Renata is a graduate of Clarkson University where she met her fellow NCAA Division I hockey player husband Paul.
