Gia Pergolini visits LA 2028 Paralympic - Olympic headquarters in downtown LA

Two-Time Paralympic Champion, three-time Paralympic medalist, Gia Pergolini had the opportunity to visit with the digital media team of LA 2028 at their headquarters in downtown LA after the 2026 Para Pan Pacific Championships meet.
Gia, a native of Atlanta, Georgia has family in the City of Angels and was able to spend a couple extra days to get a layout of what is to come for the first home Summer Paralympic Games that she is striving to make for what would be her 3rd Summer Paralympic Games.
During her time in the Greater LA region she was able to visit the site of where Paralympic Swimming will take place outside of the Long Beach Arena in the same venue that Water Polo will be played with a temporary aquatics center directly across the street from the Aquarium of the Pacific and adjacent to the Long Beach Convention Center and within ½ a mile to the iconic Queen Mary that operates as a floating hotel today.
She was able to meet the Atlanta 1996 torch legend (and multiple U.S. Olympic medalist) LA 2028 Chief Athlete Officer Janet Evans and spent time with Queen Harrison Claye and the rest of the media team for content that will roll out between now and LA 2028.
At the end of her visit she got a sneak peek into the not yet opened LA 2028 retail shop that will be used to host private events at their complex for the foreseeable future.
An honor bestowed upon all athletes who has already competed at a Paralympic or Olympic Games from around the globe is the opportunity to sign their wall.
