Semifinals 2 - Team Canada v Team Switzerland for the right to play for Gold

February 16, 2026 - Milano Cortina 2026 - Team Canada’s dream of going back-to-back faces off versus Team Switzerland who beat Finland 1-0 in their quarterfinal behind a lone goal from Northeastern University grad / Boston Fleet forward Alina Muller and a defensive performance that saw the Swiss net minder make 40 saves. In the lone other time, Switzerland advanced to the semifinal, they lost this match but won Bronze for the only time in their history to do so.

Canada defeated Germany in their quarterfinal to punch their ticket to the semifinals. In Canada’s history, they have NEVER LOST THIS GAME and have appeared in every Olympic Gold medal match.
